My Story....

I am a proud Army Veteran and college graduate who was working in corporate America for over 20 years. At the peak of my career, achieving "The American Dream", my hard work was paying off until I ended up with stage 4 cancer of the throat and thyroid gland .  This was a devastating blow because I am a health nut who doesn’t smoke or drink.  Not accepting my death sentence and  fighting to live, my successful career was terminated because of my lengthy battle and multiple surgeries.  At that moment, my faith and hope were lost.  I had a choice to live a life of eternal  isolation and depression or reinvent myself. I chose the latter. From a friendly disagreement over a pound cake with my godmother, T’s Southern Sweets was born and I have been baking ever since.
